Sacramento State Students

Studying Abroad

Students of Sacramento State who are planning to study abroad as Sacramento State students, are required to comply with the procedures and guidelines of the University's Office of Global Education. Students are required to provide Health Histories from their Medical Doctor and authorizations for medical treatment prior to be enrollment in the program. One of the requirements is that students must be able to show evidence of adequate worldwide health and accident insurance. Coverage must provide at a minimum:

 
Accident/Illness/Medical Expense per Accident$50,000
Accidental Death/Dismemberment $25,000
Evacuation and Repatriation$10,000
Maximum Deductible/Deduction$500
